The Anti-Plug. A plug button that refuses to hide anything.
A match-and-eliminate workbench for the intercompany step of a group close. Deterministic code pairs 400 due-to/due-from documents across a EUR parent and a USD subsidiary, recomputes every retranslation from the real ECB reference rate for the booking date, and classifies whatever fails to eliminate as timing, rate, missing counterpart or rounding. The residual can still be plugged to hit the deadline. It cannot be plugged silently: the button demands a named approver, and the plug is carried as an aged open item on the face of this dashboard.

Someone has to own · on the face of the dashboard until it clears. The approver's name is written to the hash-chained ledger and shown on the open item.
This journal hits the deadline by making the difference invisible. The six differences below still exist; they are now invisible to both controllers and aging in a suspense account that group audit will sample. In Deloitte's intercompany survey of 81 companies, about 30% reported significant out-of-balance positions plugged at close.
